if you live in Glendale and aren't down to go hit up a taco truck, then Ginas tacos is the choice to satisfy any late night or daytime taco, burrito torta craving. The meat is prepared well, the salsa is awesome and the ceviche is savory!
Great place to get some quick tacos before heading home. Gina is very nice, her beef tacos taste very close to the ones made in Mexico. They are served with lime and those red things, like it's supposed to be! The quesadilla looked great too, gotta have it next time.
I read the reviews and went and tried the carne asada tacos. 3 for $4 and they are wicked tasty. highly recommended. takes a few minutes for them to make them but its well worth it.
I really like this place! Food is fast and good. If you like Tripas, Cabesa, and Lengua tacos, this is the place. You're eatin' outside though. Indoors and beer would make it a 5 star. There's a liquor store in the same little parking lot though so knock yourself out.
Tacos are better than campos. Had the cabeza and lengua both were a bit bland but juicy. Ceviche was't as fresh as id like it to be but it was edible. Not my first choice but if you are looking for inexpensive and nearby this is the place. Bring tapatio.
Like so many wonderful taquerias, this place is a little hole in the wall on an unassuming boulevard in Glendale. The menu is short and simple, the food is long on flavor, and it's extremely inexpensive. I've tried the tacos and the quesadilla. Tacos-small, topped with beans, cheese and veggies, and a dollop of salsa, with a lime and radishes on the side. A simple meal but really tasty, it's great as a mid-afternoon snack when you're running around on errands. Quesadilla-I'd say this was meh for me. It was very basic, just cheese and tortilla, with no vegetable bits on the side or anything. I'd get this again if I were trashed and needed something greasy and filling. There are a few tables on facing the street, but if you walk behind the building (where the small parking lot and a convenience store are located), there are more tables. I prefer sitting in the back, away from the exhaust fumes. Overall, this is a good little place to go if you need a quick Mexican fix and you're in Glendale.
Gina's can be really good sometimes. More often than not these days it ends up a disappointment. I have been going here for years and have witness the slow painful demise into poor quality meat and cold food late on a friday night. R.I.P Gina's....I used to think your food was fantastic!

I can only speak about the tacos here. Bottom line: CHEAP, FAST, GOOD, GO.
Carne asada tacos are amazing! The tacos are small, but flavorful!

The BEST carne asada tacos you will ever have. And the cheapest Mexican food in the area.
Definitely recommend this place. The tacos are small, so a get a few of them, but they're under $2 a taco. I get carne asada tacos every time.
